VECTOR is a fictional vehicle engineering and systems research practice. It exists to show how a technical organisation could present its thinking honestly.

Imagined capabilities

The practice is imagined as a small, discipline-spanning group working on four connected problems: airflow, chassis response, powertrain efficiency and the data that describes them.

It would take on feasibility studies, instrumentation design, model correlation and test planning — and it would write down, at the start, what result would change its mind.

How it would work

Ethics of a concept

No invented clients, endorsements or quotations.
No manufacturer logos or implied affiliation with any car maker.
No claimed certifications, accreditations or facilities.
No fabricated headcount, years of experience or track record.
Every number is marked as illustrative or simulated where it appears.
Calculations are open: equations and assumptions are on the page.

Reference organisations were used only to understand how real engineering businesses structure their offer (systems, data acquisition, instrumentation workflow). Their layouts, products and wording are not reproduced. Brand identity and trademark availability for “VECTOR” have not been verified.
